Save Employee Contract
This chapter describes how to save an employment contract for an employee. By adding the information from the employee's contract to the system, information (for example, the working time model and the capacity of the connected resource) will be filled automatically.
To save an employment contract for an employee, proceed as follows:
- Open the search box (ALT+Q) and enter Employees.
- Click on the corresponding search result.
- The Employees page is displayed.
- Open the card of the employee for whom you want to deposit an employment contract.
- Click Related > Employee > Employment Contracts in the menu bar. If you cannot select these menu items, it is because you have not specified a value for the Employment Date field in the Administration tab.
- The Employee Employment Contracts window is displayed.

- Under the Employment Contract Code column, enter the appropriate code for the employment contract.
- Under the Vacation Entitlement Per Year (Days) column, enter the annual vacation entitlement in days agreed in the employment contract.
- To display the current work contract on the employee card under the Administration tab in the Emplymt. Contract Code field, select the check box in the Transmit into Employee Card column.
- Select a base calendar under the Base Calendar Code column. Once you specify the base calendar code, the capacity for the resource associated with that employee is automatically generated.
- In the Flexitime column, you can define whether the employee has a contractually agreed flextime regulation. After entering a value, you will be asked if you want to update the employee's working time record.
You have saved the employee contract in the system. Information such as working time model and resource capacity is automatically calculated and added to cards linked to the employee.
