Errors when creating milestones in the project schedule
If the system issues an error when creating milestones, this can have several reasons. The most common reason is that the milestone is not correctly indented. In the figure Error creating milestones this error is shown as an example. Figure: Error creating milestones
In the figure above, the milestone (Process No. 35) has the value 10 in the field Predecessor, but it must be created in the same outline level as the predecessor (Phase Conception) or, alternatively, must be correctly intented via the menu bar options (Left/Right) before you enter a field value: Figure: Correct indentation of the milestone
When comparing the two figures, it becomes clear that the milestone Completion Conception is now on the same outline level as the predecessor (Conception with Process No. 10) (clarified by the red line).
