Create Project Sales Blanket Order
This chapter describes how to create a project sales blanket order. You can create a project sales blanket order from a previous sales quote or directly from a project (without a previous quote).
For more information on project quotes and the associated functions, please refer to the chapter Create sales quote from project.
The project order created in these instructions is always a sales blanket order. This allows you to create multiple orders for one project.

You have several options to choose from on how the number series for blanket sales orders (based on projects) should be formed. For more information on this topic, see the Set Up Number Series for Project Blanket Orders section.
Note
Assigned sales blanket order number
The number assigned to a sales blanket order depends on the number series setup (on the PMS Setup page under Project Blanket Order No.) and the value of the Last Order No. field on the project card. If you change the field value on the project card, you can control the number of the next sales blanket order.

Create Sales Blanket Order from Project
To create a project order (sales blanket order) from a project, proceed as follows:
- Open the search box (ALT+Q) and find the Projects List page.
- The Projects List page is displayed. All existing projects are displayed on this page.
- Open the project for which you want to create an sales blanket order.
- The project card is displayed. In the FactBox (ALT+F2) on the right side of the screen you can read and display the type and quantity of documents linked to this project (e.g. quotations and blanket orders).

- With Subtotals: If you activate this slider, subtotals will be created for the individual items/positions in the generated sales blanket order. The subtotals are created based on the headlines in the project budget. For more information on the project budget, see the Define project budget section.
- Several projects per Document: Activate this slider if you want to create a sales blanket order which holds more than one project.
- Transfer also Zero Lines: Activate this slider to include budget lines with the value 0 for quantity in the sales blanket order.
- After setting options and filtering, click OK. The sales blanket order is created and displayed. On the project card, the value in the Status field is changed to Order. In addition to this, the project budget is locked, i.e. it is not possible to add additional positions to the project budget. To add additional positions to the project budget, the project budget must first be unlocked.
- The system automatically finds the sales quote associated with this sales blanket order (if a sales quote has been created). You will be asked in a dialog box if you want to transfer the existing sales quote into a (sales blanket) order. Click Yes.

The blanket order is created and the corresponding sales blanket order card is displayed.
For large projects with multiple positions, the project budget provides you with a helpful overview of which positions have already been transferred to sales blanket orders and which positions are currently still being offered. For more information on this overview, see the section Check Project Budget Lines in Sales Blanket Order.
Create Sales Blanket Order from Sales Quote
To create an order (sales blanket order) from a project quote, proceed as follows:
- Open the search box (ALT+Q) and find the Projects List page.
- The Projects List page is displayed. All existing projects are displayed on this page.
- Open the project for which you want to create a sales blanket order.
- The project card is displayed. In the FactBox (ALT+F2) on the right side of the screen you can see the type and quantity of documents linked to this project (e.g. sales quotes and sales blanket orders).

- The View - Sales List - Quote page is displayed.

- Click Card in the menu bar. The Sales Quote card will be displayed.
- On the Sales Quote card, click Process > Make Order in the menu bar.
- A dialog box is displayed asking you if you want to convert the quote to an (sales blanket) order.

- The sales quote is converted into a sales blanket order. A dialog box tells you the sales blanket order number and asks if you want to view the newly created blanket order.

Create Supplementary Project Order
This section describes how to create a supplementary (sales blanket) order. A supplementary (sales blanket) order is used when a project or the project budget is subsequently extended by one or more positions. To add a new position to a project that has already been started, the project budget must be unlocked.
To extend the project and create a supplemental (sales blanket) order, proceed as follows:
- Open the search box (ALT+Q) and find the Projects List page.
- The Projects List page is displayed. All existing projects are displayed on this page.
- Open the project that you want to extend with an additional position and for which you want to create a supplementary (sales blanket) order.
- The project card is displayed. To add an additional position to the project, you must unlock the project budget and create a new position. On the project card, click Planning > Project Budget in the menu bar.
- The project budget card for the project is displayed. Click Process > Unlocking Budget in the menu bar.

- Go back to the project card. Pressing the ESC key will immediately take you to the corresponding project card.
- On the project card, you can either offer the supplement first as a sales quote or directly transfer the additional positions into a supplement (sales blanket) order. To transfer the positions to a supplement (sales blanket) order, click Sales > Create Order in the menu bar.
- The Project Budget to Sales Document dialog box is displayed.

The additional positions from the project budget are transferred to a supplementary order (sales blanket order) and the corresponding sales blanket order card is displayed.

Check Project Budget Lines in Sales Blanket Order
This section describes how to check which project budget lines have been copied to a sales blanket order.
To check which project budget lines have been transferred to a sales blanket order, proceed as follows:
- Open the search box (ALT+Q) and find the Projects List page.
- The Projects List page is displayed. All existing projects are displayed on this page.
- Open the project for which you want to check whether all project budget positions are included in the sales blanket order.
- The project card is displayed.
- In the menu bar, click Planning > Project Budget.
- The Project Budget page is displayed.
- To open the view of the positions included in the quote/order, click View > Sales Quote/Sales Order.
- The Project Budget Lines page is displayed.
- In the table on the Project Budget Lines page, navigate to the right to the Budget Status column.
